Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel. Enjoy a welcome dinner in the evening.
Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
Early morning flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. Meet the rest of the crew and begin a gentle downhill trek to Phakding along the Dudh Koshi river.
Trek to Namche Bazaar
Enter Sagarmatha National Park. Cross several suspension bridges including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. A steep ascent brings you to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital.
Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
A crucial day for acclimatization. Hike up to the Everest View Hotel for your first panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum.
Trek to Tengboche
A scenic trail with spectacular views of Everest and Ama Dablam. Arrive at Tengboche, home to the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Witness the monks' evening prayers.
Trek to Dingboche
The trail descends to the Imja River, then climbs up to Pangboche village. The landscape becomes more rugged and barren as you ascend above the tree line to Dingboche.
Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Second acclimatization day. Hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100m) for stunning views of Makalu, Lhotse, and the Imja Valley. Rest in the afternoon to prepare for the higher altitudes.
Trek to Lobuche
A gentle climb brings you to Thugla. After a steep ascent to the Thugla Pass, you'll walk through the memorial for climbers who perished on Everest before arriving at Lobuche.
Trek to Everest Base Camp, return to Gorak Shep
The climax of the trek. Hike along the Khumbu Glacier to Everest Base Camp. Celebrate your achievement at the base of the world's highest peak before returning to Gorak Shep for the night.
Hike to Kala Patthar and trek down to Pheriche
An early morning hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for the most iconic sunrise view of Mount Everest. Descend back to Gorak Shep for breakfast, then trek all the way down to Pheriche.
Trek to Namche Bazaar
A long but mostly downhill day. Pass through Tengboche again, enjoying the oxygen-rich air as you drop in altitude, returning to the vibrant Namche Bazaar.
Trek to Lukla
The final day of walking. Retrace your steps along the Dudh Koshi river back to Lukla. Celebrate the completion of a successful expedition with your crew.
Fly back to Kathmandu
Take the thrilling early morning flight back to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for resting or souvenir shopping.
Final Departure
Our representative will transfer you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. Farewell from Nepal!
